Now Hiring - Retail Sales Associate in Eden Prairie, MN

Retail associate position helping customers with their backyard bird feeding and nature hobby questions and purchases. Training program provided during work hours, but an existing passion for nature and experience with bird feeding is needed.

REQUIRED. Good people skills, patience and outgoing personality are a big plus.

IMPORTANT: Applicant must have experience with backyard bird feeding including some basic knowledge of what birds eat and be able to identify local birds.

Duties aside from assisting customers are: carrying 20# bags of seed, stocking shelves, cleaning, putting together feeders, filling seed bags, fixing feeders, etc. We also have an online store and packaging/shipping items is also a daily task.

There will be times when we unload seed shipments and you will need to be able to lift many 20# bags and wheel them in from outside.

Looking for someone that is very passionate about birds, wildlife and the outdoors. Would like the candidate to have a fair background in birding and knows common backyard birds and what they eat.

Hours and schedule can be very flexible. The earliest work would start is 9:45AM and the latest it would go is 6:15PM. Weekend hours are shorter.

Will need to be able to work at least every other weekend. Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5.
